Today I went to a surplus Urban Outfitters in Lincoln Park.
which GLORY! already, but then I FOUND THE PERFECT RED CARDIGAN. FOR TEN DOLLARS!
i have actually been searching for a red cardigan for months!

I wish I could take a History of Chicago class.
I was just bumbling through the Wikipedia page on Chicago because obviously I have nothing better to do with my time and reading about all of the different neighborhoods and honestly I’ve never given that much attention to where I am in the city but I really want to start. I want to learn about the history of things like Cabrini-Green, the Near North Side, Streeterville, Boystown, etc. and the gentrification that has taken place all over the city.

Today I went to downtown Chicago.
I was showing the city to a friend whose visiting from Bulgaria and we went to the Sears Tower.
And I teared up at the intro video.

10 days, 4 finals, and 1 three hour flight from now i’ll be back in Chicago.
